Dr. Daniela Maria Tomus Appointed Medical Director: Press Release

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Daniela Maria Tomus as Medical Director.

Dr. Tomus is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist, registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), with expertise in supporting children, adolescents, and adults. She provides comprehensive assessments and treatment for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, OCD, and depression.

Since 2011, Dr. Tomus has held senior clinical roles across NHS Foundation Trusts and the private sector, delivering both in-person and online care. She has extensive experience reviewing complex ADHD cases, managing clinical risk, and providing medication recommendations to support safe, coordinated, patient-centred treatment.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Tomus brings strong leadership experience, contributing to prescribing governance, quality improvement, and the development of neurodevelopmental care pathways. She brings these 25+ years of knowledge and expertise to the role. Her background also includes international clinical experience in Romania and the United States, as well as earlier work in intensive care nursing.

Dr. Tomus is excited to help develop a new, gold-standard service at Montrose and was drawn to the organisation’s commitment to post-diagnostic support. She believes care shouldn’t end when a client receives their assessment report.
